Your Dock, Your Inspection Team, Your Freight Partner

A receiving warehouse accepts freight on your behalf — inspecting, photographing, and documenting every shipment the day it lands, then storing, crating, or shipping it onward. Curtis Specialized Moving & Storage receives for designers, galleries, retailers, and homeowners at its Dallas warehouse at simple per-shipment rates.

Every shipment that hits the Curtis dock at 460 W. Mockingbird Lane is checked against the carrier’s paperwork, photographed, and logged the same day — damage documented while a claim is still simple. You’re notified within 48 hours of receipt, and every item is barcoded into more than 100,000 square feet of temperature-controlled rack storage, marked with its unique location. From there, pieces flow wherever your project needs: climate-controlled storage, warehouse assembly, custom crates engineered to the piece, or white-glove shipping nationwide with declared valuation coverage. Uncrating is billed per crate; sidemarked shipments keep everything clean (a research fee applies to unidentified freight — accurate POs save money).

How It Works — The White-Glove Way

“Your employees were both courteous and careful in the boxing, transport and positioning of all our furniture and artwork. They were all so friendly and a joy to spend time with. Countless times they were asked to move furniture in order to get “just the right look” and they never complained.”

— Lucretia Stewart
